Soldiers struggling with English receive extra help from the latest in language lab technology, at the new language center at their base. The lab has been inaugurated at the Tzrifin army base near Rishon Lezion.
The project was sponsored by the Israel Labor Federation which donated NIS 200,000, towards the establishment of the laboratory.
" We all know that Israelis have problems with English in high-school", said General (res.) Danny Matt, Chairman of the Libi Fund.
" As the second language in a world of higher education and technology, proficiency in English is of the utmost importance and we want to encourage soldiers to improve in the English language".
