The existing library complex of the Israeli Navy was converted into a modern and computerized educational and information center, with individual computer stations, providing officers and soldiers of the Israeli Navy with rapid access to the internet and professional and technical information.

This project was made possible through a generous bequest from the estate of the late Berna Steigman who has chosen, in this way, to show her concern for the continuous need to improve the professional knowledge and general education of the soldiers of the IDF.
