The Libi Fund together with the Israel-Australia Chamber of Commerce organized
a visit of a delegation of Australian businessmen to the IDF's Military Medical School on 28th July 2008.
The overseas visitors were shown around the simulation facilities, where doctors, medics and paramedics are trained in the practice of initial management treatment in trauma injuries, receiving a review of this medical training center's important role in modern warfare, by the Commander of the Training Base, Colonel Dr. Bader Tarif.
Many of the Manikins (human patient simulators) used in training and other medical equipment, were financed by donations through The Libi Fund.
The guests were also given a live demonstration of medical treatment to injured soldiers under battlefield conditions.
The visitors were impressed by the high level of the medical training facilities and indicated their intentions to help raise funds to assist the IDF's Medical Corps to acquire additional much needed simulation and other equipment.
